The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the USA is an organization with community-based chapters, who work under the creed, “Elks Care and Elks Share.” Promoting the four cardinal virtues of charity, justice, brotherly love, and fidelity, family-run Archadeck of NE Dallas-Southlake makes concerted philanthropic efforts to help children, Veterans, and the community at large in Mesquite.
Alongside reputable organizations, like Marine Toys for Tots, Archadeck owners take part in yearly efforts to help less-privileged families and children in foster care experience the true spirit of Christmas – by giving.
— Dedicated community volunteers.
Each year, Mesquite Elks Lodge members participate in festivities and functions that ensure that local children receive Christmas joy by way of hundreds of gifts and holiday meals fit for royalty. During their annual Christmas celebrations, dozens of less-fortunate Mesquite families will be able to sit for a hot meal while the children await the arrival of Santa. The children are given the opportunity to sit with Santa for photos and receive gifts from a giant room of donated toys. In addition to the actual Christmas party, Mesquite Elks Lodge members donate toys to hundreds more children in the community, who would otherwise not experience the magic of the season.
— Boxed Christmas meals include: turkey, ham, fresh veggies, and more!
During the 2019 Christmas season, Elks Lodge members raffled off dozens of bicycles each of their Three Nights of Giving celebration.
As members of the local chapter of the Elks organization, we contribute to the Mesquite community in support of Veterans’ causes such as the local VA hospital and hosting the Veteran’s Day luncheon for local Veterans. Members give to local senior citizens in need with food drives and delivery.

We host and participate in causes for children, not just at the holidays, but all year long. Elks Lodge members participate in anti-bullying rallies and raising funds to host less-fortunate families. We also raise funds for a special-needs camp in the summer. In addition, we fund an annual grant to help one family each year with special needs (such as hearing aids, special needs tricycles, and other general equipment to assist them). We also promote drug awareness and the happy, healthy lives of children – the lives all children are entitled to.
Elks Lodge members contribute to college scholarship and financial aid programs. We reward exemplary services of first responders with Policeman of the Year and Fireman of the Year Awards.
As members of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the USA, we hope to always be in support of our community, answering the needs of children, teens, and adults in our area. We are proud of our community, and we are dedicated to its citizens.
